When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rhyss is a dragon that is a LOT like Specula, as she loves playing mind games with people as well. In fact, the two can often be found tag-teaming others to more effectively screw with their minds. She and Specula are almost always together, and they get along incredibly well.

Rhyss loves riddles, and if you know a good one, you can usually distract her by telling it to her, and, if you somehow manage to stump her (which is no easy feat, given that she's a known mind reader), she'll usually let you go without a scratch.

She one day dreams of traveling the seas with Specula, and she also loves gems and precious metals, and is especially fond of the color blue.
