White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A sensitive white with an extensive knowledge of herbs and healing magic, Myitkyna is the Healer of the Clan of the Mountain-Wings. She was taught at birth by Wyndir, but when she proved to have great potential, Wyndir took her on as a helper. However, rumors surfaced that Wyndir had fathered Myitkyna, and Wyndir was forced to abandon the position, as Clan law states that no Healer may ever take a mate or have children. Myitkyna took over the position, proving more talented than her father at magic, and possessing the power to communicate with all life on Earth.

  Yet deep in her heart, she longs for a mate, forbidden by the law. And yet, her deep resolve to have her first loyalty to her Clan burns strongly within her. So far, she has walked in the law, keeping her first love to her Clan. Yet even so, her longing for a mate grows. And only one side will prevail.
