Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Popularly known in the Clan as Ildera the Mysterious, her name reflects her character well. She appeared in the Clan one day as a hatchling, badly starved and very weak. It was a terrible winter that the Clan was going through, and it took a fierce debate for the Clan to finally take her in. She has a profound interest in magic, encouraged by an early age by Wyndir, a hatchling friend and now her mate, and it was many a time when she was scolded for accidentally melting all the snow on the mountain or turning the leader's scales pink (no Clan leader has ever had pink scales). She has little interest in day to day affairs, preferring to stay in a quiet cave to develop her magic, except to hunt. Beware that you do not approach her cave...or your skull may be the newest addition to her collection.
