Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sleetflight is the Ice son of MerrillDiane the Bluna and FrosySwish the Ice dragon. As a hatchling he managed to leave the family domain and somehow wandered into a human settlement. When his worried family found him, he happily displayed his brand new collection of ice statues to them. Fortunately, not much damage had been done and everyone was successfully defrosted. But SleetFlight had been bitten by the artistic bug. He soon realized that making ice statues out of humans wasn't very satisfying, and set out to create something more challenging. He soon taught himself to sculpt ice, and his den was filled with hundreds of ice figures of a staggering variety. Soon after, he changed track and, after working feverishly for days, proudly displayed what appeared to be a heap of roughly rounded ice blocks. This, he announced to his family, was his foray into abstract art. He is now working on his next masterpiece, though for some reason, his tools keep going missing...
