Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Callable knows nobody thinks very highly of him because he hears others getting praise for achievements like mastering a difficult spell, or engineering a fix to a fallen bridge, or thwarting an invader, while he receives none. He spends most of his time eating, so he doesn't have the opportunity to do much else. Recently, though, he got into growing plants in pots and a cave-side garden. Perhaps he should've been a green variety of striped because he discovered he has a green thumb! The great thing about plants is they take in soil stuff and photosynthesize without needing supervision. Most have buggy predators, which Callable gladly eats to help them and help himself. He still hasn't achieved much in the eyes of other dragons, but that's OK. He talks to his plants about his personal problems and problems his neighbors and the territory face, and they are better listeners than any dragon could be. When he speaks to his plants about what makes him sad, they silently photo-sympathize.
