Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Bright sky might not be smart, but he has such a voice. It seems to soar higher, faster, and much more gracefully than him. However, he seems to be prone to losing his voice for days on end. He loves to sing and fly at the same time but more often than not, crashes into a dragon he mistakes for a cloud.

It was being debated whether he shoud be invited to join the Council of Elders since he was the only dragon of his species but most(well, actually all)dragons gasped in horror at the thought of him being an Elder. The topic wasn't pursued much futher after Midnight Sorrows(the most intimidating Elder and vampire dragon in this cave) threatened to bite the next dragon who distrubed him over this.
