Sunstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. Their social structure resembles a lion pride, with one dominant male and several females banded together with their young. They prefer arid climates where they can blend in and dig for minerals and gemstones that they not only collect, but eat. The more gems they consume, the larger their tail stone grows. They are an aggressive breed; it is not uncommon to see two males battling for mates and territory.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

In her free time Chaitra enjoys snacking on desert plants and meats and writing short pieces on any subject. Everyone in her motley group dabbles in the art of the pen and at home Chaitra and her husband like to bounce prompts and ideas off each other. When it comes time to post a notice or send out group mail Chaitra is not a popular pick to write it. Her pieces are informative and her spelling is good but she doesn't understand commas. Every time she tries to insert some into her work an editor points out that they're used incorrectly and no matter how much her loving patient husband or anyone else tries to explain commas to Chaitra she understands none of it. After much exasperation she decided to leave out commas entirely instead of struggle with them. Most dragons think that pointedly avoiding commas is a pastime of Chaitra's. In fact her three favorite things now are eating her husband and not using commas.
