Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

ScaredSoarer was a wonderful flier when he was a hatchling until an accident deformed him. He was flying faster then ever when there was suddenly a rock slide in the cave after an earthquake. A rock hit him in midair and broke his wing bone into several pieces. They healed but his wings were so bent out of shape that he could not longer fly even a inch off of the ground. He would not want to anyway and can still remember the pain. He is incredibly skittish and nervous around obstacles that could hurt him. He prefers to stay inside the cave and rarely leaves. But, despite this he is a loyal friend and loves to help others as long as he can do it in the cave.
