Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

ScaredHeart is, as her name suggests, a coward. She is always seen running away from the other dragons because even though she is a coward, she does have a habit of saying whatever she thinks without thinking first. Her constant state of terror has caused her to find many wonderful hidden caves and burrows where she can hide and even store food for when she has said something particularly nasty. The Pygmy dragons who do manage to explore the cave every now and then have found many of her hiding spots and don't tell the other dragons for one reason only...that is one of the few places where they don't need to eat scraps or bones. They can sneak to the hidden stashes whenever she is gone and take the meatiest, juiciest part of the prey. Sometimes the piece of meat is even bigger then the Pygmy. She never finds out though because her mind is so full of who she angered that she barely even remembers how much meat she had stored in a certain place anyway. It is a Pygmy paradise!!!
