Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Upon landing in the new location he would call his new home, Be Our Ally became acquainted with a pair of residents called Trippy Seal and Allure Boy. It's hard to remember, but he's pretty sure they just popped out of the rocks and slapped him in greeting. They took a liking to him and gave him the nickname Be Our Ally. It took a few minutes to realize that was meant as a nickname, not just a proposal for friendship, and a few more days before he realized that it was a code of sorts, and these two individuals are part of a club of language-players. Be Our Ally never thought himself very bright and doesn't befriend easily, so figuring out the origin of this funny name and becoming a club member at once gave him a feeling of pride and delight. Club members were happy to show him around the territory and even provide an abundance of food while he familiarized himself. His skills in magical defense landed him a job in one of the mage halls, and he was soon able to repay the club.
