Anagallis Dragons are a medium-sized omnivorous breed. Widespread and adaptable, their easygoing nature enables them to flourish under most conditions. They are social creatures, fun-loving and outgoing, and will readily defend smaller dragons from others’ aggression. They are fond of sunshine, and can often be found basking on rocks; on cloudy or stormy days they are more reluctant to venture out, and will often hide themselves away until the weather is more favorable.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Glistening Parsnip loves parsnips drenched in a warm, gooey layer of honey. He collects flowers which he uses to decorate his sleeping areas of which he has several. If the weather is fine and warm he will often nap in a small clearing next to the river. In the autumn, when he notices the first leaves changing, he heads further inland where he has weaved a nest of twigs and dried flowers. When he feels winter approaching he heads to his cave to hold up until spring. Although he does not enjoy the time spent in the cave he keeps busy by sorting through his dried flowers and practicing his mating dance.
