Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blizzard Maker is a lover of cold weather. He loves creating massive snowstorms whenever he can. Due to his love of the cold, Blizzard Maker now spends his days as a hermit of sorts. He lives near the South Pole, where he can create his destructive and snowy storms any time he wants. Blizzard Maker has never felt the need to have other dragons close to him, and because of this, he has managed to control his temper better that most of the storm dragons that he has come across during his travels. Due to a lack of variety in Antarctica's wildlife, Blizzard Maker has acquired a taste for penguin; he thinks that penguins are chewy and highly flavorful. He loves the taste of penguin so much that whenever Blizzard Maker travels north of the Antarctic Circle, he always brings a few penguins with him to snack on.
