Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

GloEwin means "CoalClaw." She is red as a dying star and black as the crust on lava. Her eye is a live ember. Her throat burns with the fire in her belly. GloEwin lives in the topmost spire of an ancient castle that has long since become a part of the mountainside, so high up that no moss clings to the stones nor weeds between them, and her only company the travelers of the highest skyways. Vulture, eagle, swift, and wild goose they watch her, and she nods her horned head to them as they pass over. Sometimes she stretches her spiked wings over the ruined turrets and roars a greeting to the sunset as it bathes the land in a color to match her own. Others, she welcomes the shadows, and melts in among them. But her eye always burns. GloEwin loves the solitude of her lofty perch; she is free to contemplate, without interruptions save for the glad cries of the wide-winged birds. And the red dragon spreads her own sharp wings and joins them, and the sun blazes like the fire in her eye.
