Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Brippan was the final egg in the first wave of TrollBoyTaran's dragons. He is the trickster of the clan, and, as is common to his kind, he is often seen darting around in the TBT clan cave. Although an adult, he behaves more like a big brother to the hatchlings, and many times he is the mastermind behind their pranks. He is seldom seen without Atrophy, his right hand woman, and together, the two of them brew up some of the most annoying and inconvenient pranks ever seen by dragon-kind. They are most active in the evening hours, once Skale, Elamaira and Wylemm have returned from their flights, but it's not time to go to sleep yet.
