Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Pax Angelus was a diplomat of the old school, believing that any two groups could reach a lasting peace, if the diplomats were skilled enough. He viewed the resumption of hostilities as a personal affront: proof positive that he failed to do his research and identify the fundamental problems driving the conflict. Over the years, he become so skilled at his job that strangers come to implore him to help bring peace. It was on one such foray that his diplomatic career, and his sight, met its end. While attempting to mediate a blood-feud that had lasted for generations, he was caught in a firestorm. He awoke sometime later to the peculiar, but familiar sound of his lover's heavy wings, and the sound of her voice imploring him to stay still. He found out what happened (and of his failure) much later. But from that day forth, he saw nothing more.
