Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very protective of other hatchlings.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Teldarin is an energetic little munchkin who gets along with everyone in town. People can't be sure, but they think she looks a lot like a miniature, wingless version of the Great Guardian who's said to appear in dire times. Some believe her to be a reincarnation, while others think she is merely an enchanted lizard. No matter people's opinions of Teldarin, she's treated with kindness and respect. She prefers to sleep on the thatched roof of the city's public stable, despite the attempts by some denizens to move her to a more "honorable" living space.
