Grave Dragons are not named for their connections to death or burial, but for the grave expression on their faces. This strange expression is used as a defense mechanism that causes fits of panic and terror in potential predators. Since they only eat ash and charcoal, they do not hunt. Grave Dragons are powerful fire-breathers and have been known to burn down forests and villages alike to make meals. It is believed that the markings on each Grave Dragon’s wings are the faces of those who have lost their lives in fires started by that dragon.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Pyrical manages a patch of woodland sustainably, using controlled burning to create ash and charcoal for both personal consumption and trade. When a wildfire rages on his land or anywhere nearby, he is among the first to get off his tail and head out to control the fire, clearing brush and starting back-burns to stop the fire's spread. He cares about sustainability and has been accused of having started a fire that badly injured a dragon who had plans of purchasing a hundred hectares of prime woodland, clear-cutting for timber and building a golf course. A fight between a red and a royal crimson that happened the same night meant that all anyone could say was that a fire-breather was at fault.

During times of contagion, Pyrical has been known to start fires in teleportation hubs or major thoroughfares between cities. Some say he compounds a bad situation by cutting off vital supplies, but he works under Viral Corona, blocking transport to stop the pathogen spreading like wildfire.
