Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Slimboder is a prissy creature who thinks he's entitled to many things that, by all means, don't belong to him. It's a bad idea to invite him into one's den, as he's quick to poke around at any of their trinkets and even try to steal them for his ever-growing hoard, insisting that the other dragon "doesn't need them". He'll easily forgive anyone who compliments him and likes to convince hatchlings that he's the coolest guy around.
