Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. SleepyUltraviolet is an Ultraviolet Dragon who is really tired all the time. He's actually a narcoleptic, and he can fall asleep at any time in any place. He's even fallen asleep while flying, luckily he has strong bones because he usually walks away from the crash alright; after he wakes up, that is. SleepyUltraviolet can usually be found taking a nap in the shade.
