It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

PurpleThistle is a Purple Dragon who loves thistles. She has a whole garden planted with only different types of thistles. She has the yellow Golden Thistle with its big flowers. PurpleThistle has to be careful around purple Spear Thistles because of their long thorns. Clustered Carline Thistle are a darker golden with large centers. The Milk Thistle with its spiky purple flowers is also a good medicine for damage to the liver done by toxins, so a healer at the clinic of their cave WhiteBlossom uses these to treat non-life-threatening poisonings. PurpleThistle loves her spiny garden of thistles, even though she does get the occasional tiny thorn that sticks in between scales. The best way to get those out is to soak in warm water before trying to pull them out.
