Cavern Lurker Dragons are nocturnal ambush predators. Although small, they are very aggressive and will attack anything weak enough to be overpowered. Their preferred method of hunting is to lie in wait in a cave, burrow, or other small, enclosed space; when any potential prey passes they will lunge out to grab hold of the unsuspecting victim and drag it back into the lair. Cavern Lurkers have an odd aversion to sunlight and almost never venture out during the day. More commonly sighted are the odd piles of bones they stack near the entrance to their dens. Their mating call is a low-pitched bumping noise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

There is something about the water which simply enthrals Cula. The refreshment of that slightly sweet, yet deliciously neutral liquid swirling down his throat is a near obsession, as he will consume gallons in a day, each beautiful drop a treasure before his marvelling eyes. Cula will refuse all other drinks; from fresh milk to well-aged wine, preferring only to drink the purest spring water he can find. Bathing in the liquid goodness is another pastime of Cula's, and he will spend hours diving around in a clear lake, diving deep down so he is submerged in water. To pass off these activities as normal, Cula pretends he is hunting fish, crouching hidden in the reed bed and watching for a slight disturbance in the water. Spotting it, he will then throw himself after the shoal, using his powerful limbs to propel him through the water as he hunts his prey. This becomes very awkward if it is a water dragon, and not a fish he spotted, as has unfortunately happened many a time.
