White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pearl's Elegance, or Pearl, is a rather vain white dragon whose only imperfection, in his own opinion, is his name. He was christened Pearl long before he was old enough to show his gender, and now his pure white scales are tarnished by this embarrassing blot. However, all that is needed is to look past his proud outer shell in order to catch sight of his kind, generous heart. Pearl is the official healer of the clan, always willing to accept and heal the next wounded hatchling. Recently, however, he has begun to show more of his inner personality through his relationship with his beloved Amethyst. He loves his daughter Ivory dearly, although she often scolds him playfully for his selfish appearance.
