Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Pyropetor RubyShield (after the gemstone: Pyrope Garnet) became the 25th clan dragon during a difficult time within the clan cave. The Clan Mother was stricken with an illness during the return journey, and the entire clan rallied their support to lend their aid. The honored Elder Magi Clinohumitian was able to touch Pyropetor's essence within her shell to gain a glimpse into the circumstances surrounding the illness, and discovered its cause, a dark, black dragon had assaulted her and caused the sickness. As a result, the clan elders were able to help her, primarily due to Pyropetor's assistance. From that day to this, she is an ever present companion to the beloved Clan Mother, and she remains forever at her side. While she enjoys the company of other dragons, she considers humans to be worthy of her protection, and so she tirelessly watches over them.
