Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to get warmer and brighter when you are around it.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

That Wasn't Nice works in "security", namely, standing at the front of the Road's-End Cave and greeting visitors and residents of the Charlie 2 network. The various Charlies covering a large region means That Wasn't Nice can potentially meet many new people, and that is the reason he stands outside every morning. He's not that great of a security guard; rather, the adult (usually his caretaker) supervising him is actually the one doing guard duty, but they feel that this little job is a great learning and socializing opportunity for That Wasn't Nice.
