Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Markdown was raised by humans and relies on them for food and shelter. While he has a proper job and follows the queen's orders, he dislikes being involved in armed conflict. He was once the recalcitrant mount of a general who liked to rally his troops by yelling. Before the first battle in the eastern theatre, the general tried to teach Markdown about battle cries. With the human's instructions in mind, Markdown trotted leisurely across the field, yelling at the top of his neurons at the enemies, "I AGREE WITH YOUR SIDE FROM A SOCIOECONOMIC STANDPOINT, BUT THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION IS TOO BIASED BECAUSE OF REGIONAL POLITICS! ALSO, THE TARIFF ON IMPORTED TEXTILE ITEMS IS TOO STEEP AND WILL STIFLE THE FREE MARKET! WHILE I VALUE YOUR OPINION ON THE MATTER, I FEEL THAT GOING TO WAR IS THE BEST POSSIBLE ACTION!"

For some reason, Markdown is no longer a soldier's mount and is now a messenger. While he wasn't discharged as he'd hoped, he's happy that his job is farther from the front lines.
