White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hurky lives in self-imposed solitude, unwilling to return to the human settlement he once called home. As thanks for rescuing and raising him, he provided healing to many families in town, but he was a terrible failure: nobody he ever treated survived. He could not even save his own rescuer, "Mummy", from an unknown disease that eventually ate through her mind, despite his knowledge in magic and botany. He had known Mummy for a mere 38 years and couldn't bring himself to say anything at her funeral. No one in town showed anger towards Hurky for this or any of his other failures. They've told him things like "it was his time" or "this is not your burden", but he knew they were just trying to make him feel better when he didn't deserve their respect. So guilt-ridden he was about witnessing deaths that he could've prevented that he eventually fled the city.
