Pillow Dragons are covered in enormous amounts of fur affectionately referred to as fluff. Despite their deceivingly large size, they can still fly even with such tiny wings because their bodies are remarkably light. Pillow Dragons have a habit of sleeping for up to eighteen hours a day, waking only in short bursts. During their few waking hours, they take the time to hunt for prey. Once a pillow dragon becomes an adult, its fur grows very slowly. Pillow dragon fur is used to make very expensive and valuable cloth known as “dragon cashmere.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

TaBS0, better known as Tabs, is a good-humored and friendly dragon, though she is unsociable and doesn't like meeting new people. She would prefer solitude while working and hunting but always engages in conversation and helps others when they ask. When speaking to a stranger, she has a nagging thought in her head that the other individual has motives she doesn't like. Usually, those thoughts don't get the best of her, and the other party means no harm. She doesn't really know how to assertively say no, preferring to decline with one or more excuses, invent an emergency for why she has to leave right at this moment, and do other things to let people down gently. She is only bluntly honest to family and close friends. Other dragons of her clan say she doesn't need to be this soft to strangers, especially the kind who won't take "no" for an answer, but she doesn't wish to be mean. She loathes being unable to trust her judgment.
