Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As a fighter in a group of Purple Dorsal Dragons, this female has taken the name of Fighter. She is heavily muscled and stronger than most of the males in the group. She likes to spar, especially when she is teaching younger members that she is not one to push around. Fighter knows many techniques for fighting and employs them frequently when fighting against a group of hostile dragons.

Fighter is an older sister figure in the group, with knowledge of life and a rough exterior. She can be mean and has a habit of yelling at anyone who doesn't know what they are talking about. Fighter sees her group like a family, teaching the younger members and listening for new advice from the older members.

Fighter is completely loyal to her group and will protect every single member with her life, no matter what.
