Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jesimira is the strong-willed daughter of Leonorix and Emnaress. She is their first born. Her birth was greeted with a mix of joy and apprehension. There isn't a dragon in Valley Clan that does not remember or has not heard of the confusion and upset that her mother's presence caused in the Valley. All of the dragons were worried. What would come of a mix between a Magi and Daydream Dragon was anyone's guess. Thankfully she has shown no sign of Magi-powers, but Jesimira does possess her mothers gift of creating daydreams. At first her powers were so out of control that her parents had to keep her in the Cave, away from the other dragons. Her powers weren't mastered until Jesi had grown up. These days, she rarely uses her uncanny gift. Because of her strong morals and values, she only sends daydreams to those who ask. She dreams that one day she can do something useful for the Clan, but, little does she know, she does enough as is.
