Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Moonlit Chameleon is the special effects dragon for the Nworset Thratre. Although by no means an expert with illusion magic, she is quite skilled with the size-manipulating illusion Tsoot is known for, often using it to help the smaller members of the crew appear to be on the same scale as the full-sized dragons. The fake nature of her illusory weather actually adds to the overall effect when she the theatre is putting on CHZAH1's comedies but is distracting for serious productions. Whenever traveling performers come into town, she accosts their special-effect dragons for tips, but even when they advise her, it doesn't help. The truth is, Chameleon is not a good illusionist.

When away from the stage, Chameleon is a kind but absent-minded dragon who spends perhaps more than is reasonable on beauty products and bric-a-brac. If Fleurier the theatre's owner wasn't courting her and helping balance her budget, she would probably be in a very bad place.
