Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Orenda Nuria, daughter of Taika Nuria the trickster, was born on the highest mountain of Elgar. Longing to have a purpose to her magic, Orenda became the apprentice of Gandalf Nuria, the most powerful dragon in Elgar. He was wise, and at first he refused to train her, as he had seen the tricks she and her mother liked to play to other dragons. Soon though, her saw her honesty and relented. Gandalf trained Orenda in the ways of magic, and soon Orenda became the second most powerful dragon in Elgar. One fall day, Orenda heard a strange sound. Suddenly, Aashini, guardian of the hatchlings, flew by with eggs and hatchlings in her arms. "Vampires from the east!" she yelled. Orenda turned to see a cloud of vampire dragons flying toward Elgar. Mustering all her magic, she began to put a protection spell over Elgar. Gandalf flew to help her, but they were not fast enough. One egg was killed. Orenda Nuria still lives in Elgar, practicing her magic for when the time is right to use it.
