Blancblack dragons are a two-headed breed known for their hardiness and easygoing nature. They are omnivorous, with the cream head preferring to eat plants and the violet head preferring to eat meat, and can adjust readily to harsh climates. These dragons are sociable—both with other two-headed breeds and with single-headed dragons—and can often be found as adopted members of social dragon colonies. They are often considered symbols of balance and fairness, and likenesses of Blancblacks have been found in ancient ruins associated with law and justice. Females Blancblacks have longer tails than males, which they use as whips when defending a nest from predators.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.
User Description
Anteiko is generally a fairly soft-spoken dragon, and is a frequent patron of many of the bakeries and delicatessen shops in the villages near her family caves. While neither of her heads necessarily agree on what they like eating most, both enjoy watching human chefs working in their kitchens. Anteiko will often go foraging in other biomes to bring back various ingredients to present to these chefs, in exchange for being allowed to sit in the kitchens during cooking time. Often the grateful chefs will invite her to sample some of their wares made with her contributions, including charcuterie boards of exotic meats and delicate pastries garnished with flowers from faraway lands. While Anteiko always enjoys the tasty treats, she often finds that the conversation with the chefs is just as fulfilling, since she loves just listening to chefs talk about their memories of and experiences with food.
