Pyrovar Dragons live at high altitudes in areas with lots of volcanic activity. They are commonly associated with geysers and hot springs and enjoy soaking in the scalding water. Females bury their eggs in these areas warmed by geothermal energy and abandon them soon after. As a result, these dragons are territorial and solitary from a young age. Despite their affinity with water they have powerful flame breath and fire magic. They are entirely carnivorous and utilize a variety of hunting styles, from chasing down prey from the air to lying in wait beneath the water’s surface to ambush any unwitting creatures that wander by.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Swavy Haxed Modex is a musician, playing the humming magical information processing device. She has an array of these mana-powered devices, which were meant for things such as calculating numbers for addle-minded researchers or converting units to be based on the device owner's body sizes (tail lengths, clawfuls, etc.) but that each hum at a different frequency when working. By signing activation and cancelation commands to the devices, she plays tunes. She often travels as a novelty performer, but her home is currently in a hot spring near Nworset. She makes sure to keep her devices clean, because sometimes moths and other insects get in and can alter the pitch or response time of a device, or even crash it entirely.
