Corporal Queso has expressed that he would like to be referred to as a male even though technically, he has no gender. He owes his entire existence to Colonel Queso and has honoured the Colonel by taking her last name. He arrived as an egg one sunny July afternoon and was immediately taken under the wing of the Colonel who saw to it that he survived long enough to hatch. One day sometime after he'd grown his wings, he unintentionally angered the eldest Magi, Larksaf. Larksaf cast a spell on Corporal Queso so that he would remain a hatchling for the rest of his days.
