Water Walkers are small dragons that are frequently found around bogs and ponds. While they are flightless, they retain the flight sacs and hollow bones of their airborne cousins. These traits, coupled with their extraordinarily long, webbed toes, allow them to stand on top of calm waters, using their small sails to propel them wherever they please. They spend the majority of their lives on the water, retreating to the tops of lily pads when the waters become too rough to float atop.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Unlike many of the dragons here, Antipope doesn't have a cave, tree, or structure he calls home, and he doesn't consider the pond his territory, either. He's not sure whether the area is claimed by anyone, and he's glad he can walk, swim, and glide as he pleases without worrying someone will get angry at him for trespassing or whatever. Antipope is a skilled pond skater, whether the water is liquid or frozen. In the winter, people sometimes stop to watch him, and they give him money and food. An admiring kingcrowne taught him a "bolstering spell" and gave him the location of a mana vein a few minutes east of the pond, and since then, he hasn't had to worry about damaging his feet. Antipope's mother wanted to name him after a real antipope, Gregotus of Talasso, but perhaps someone took issue because, evidently, she changed her mind.
