Falconiform Wyverns are normally shy creatures. However, when approached, they often feel threatened, and the flames along their bodies leap higher. Females tend to be smaller than males, though Falconiform Wyverns are typically rather large overall. They use their size to their advantage by hunting smaller dragons. The Falconiform’s graceful, swooping dives are said to resemble birds of prey. Falconiforms are largely solitary dragons that only meet in order to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mithril is a guard who patrols his Clan's forests in search of trouble. Reserving himself to the more rural regions of the Clan territory, he usually works alone and doesn't often have contact with superiors; as such he's often abiding by the requests of loners and remote settlements rather than direct orders from above. He enjoys this relatively solitary and yet helpful lifestyle. He is soft-spoken, communicating with as few words as possible and preferring to prove himself through action instead. To his mate, family, and few chosen allies, he is fiercely loyal.
