Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kierozesian is a Magi dragon and the son of Amarinthe the Rock dragon and Fierozasion, another Magi dragon. While he has his mother's calm, easy going, rather lazy nature, he also has his father's magic power. And like his father, he has a lot of trouble handling this gift. His powers slip out of control, happening more often at times when he is relaxed, asleep or extremely tense. In those situations, bystanders often find inexplicable things happening to them i.e.—ending up a few hundred miles from where they were, finding themselves a different color or species, mysteriously getting random objects rained on them and so on. Despite this, Kierozasion is a good natured, kind and rather naive dragon. He is close to both his parents and is on good terms with all his family, including Rose Satin the bullying Red dragon, to whom he simply gives in, and FrostFlyer the coldhearted Winter dragon, who sometimes makes time to watch the young Magi practice his art.
