Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Muneer lives on a coast near an archipelago. He may look terrifying, but he saves his magic and strength for prey and hostile creatures. Though the conditions make the trip risky, many human fishers and traders sail through the icy waterway by the mainland, since the passage is three times shorter than going around the islands. The humans avoid causing trouble, so Muneer welcomes them with open wings, though usually, they only stop to repair their equipment—they don't really want to stick around for long. After seeing so many fishing vessels over the years, Muneer knows a thing or few about repairing nets. He likes to join the humans and see if they need help retying, disentangling, and reattaching the ropes. He'll also invite them to relax for a while and take in the pleasantly cold atmosphere. Most humans will never be comfortable with the giant, scary ice dragon who seems suspiciously friendly, though a few do take up his offer to net fix and chill.
