It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Highly intelligent, though admittedly quite reclusive, Cyber enjoys reading and studying as a pastime. He's a quiet beast but very wise and has a penchant for pulling brilliant ideas out of his head. As mentioned, he isn't the most sociable dragon. He can handle individuals and small groups fine, but he becomes anxious and irritable in larger crowds. He has a distaste for loud noises and obnoxious dragons. This can be hard to distinguish, however, since his demeanor always remains pleasant, no matter what his true feelings are. Cyber tries to act polite and personable at all times, even when he's upset or even livid. He's almost too good at upholding this mask, since everyone just thinks he's a social butterfly, when that couldn't be further from the truth. Cyber is too nice to drop the act, though, so succumbs to whatever unpleasantness this attitude subjects him to. There have been a few, rare times, however, where Cyber has cracked under pressure and exposed his anxious self.
