Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Brochette may be the only striped dragon for miles who insists on amassing a bunch of bugs and eating them with salt and spices. He's either the fastest at completing tasks or isn't given as much work as the others. His brethren grumble about him running off early to do his "weird culinary thing", while admitting his cooking is quite tasty. He sometimes dumps seasonings into a big bowl or hole of insects, then mixes it around, and eats. Other times, he takes the bigger critters and skewers them on thin branches and twigs. Brochette likes thyme a lot but finds it rather annoying to work with; the little leaves want to stick to his hands more than his food. If he's not careful, they'll be covered in the aromatic stuff whilst the meal he's preparing loses it. Other dragons occasionally come across him wiggling his fingers and trying to get the individual crumbs off, and they conclude that he's got too much thyme on his hands.
