Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It gives off a glow that lights up the cave.
Look, it’s grown frills, and the glow around it has become even brighter.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
User Description
Ko'e, like all of the tribe's silver dragons, lives on the island of Molehu. She received her name like all other silvers: as a hatchling, her looks, personality, and actions were inspected by the elders and then summed up in a word in Hawaiian. For her, it was Ko'e. Her name means "earthworm".
Ko'e has always loved the dirt. Her babysitter had been a kindly pebble dragon, and Ko'e had been taught the fine art of tunnel-making. Even after Ko'e had grown too old for her babysitter, she continued to dig and tunnel. On the island there are miles of intricate tunnel systems that most mistake for woodchuck homes. She is very reclusive and most consider her stupid because she doesn't speak much. But every once in a while, in the self-made library on the island, a book full of scrawled but emotion-charged and beautiful poetry will appear on the shelves, telling of the wonderful feeling of dirt pressing in on all sides and the wonder of soft, cool soil in one's paws.
