Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

It was a dark foggy night on Christmas eve, and farmer Zach was losing his cool trying to find a present for his love interest, Laika. Farmer Zach was pulling ribbons and shavings out all over the place as he pleaded with the dear lord as to what he should buy for her. Suddenly, farmer Josh came over to comfort him and bring cheer. Together they made presents and handed them out to the poor. Nothing was left except one piece of paper, until Zach remembered his love. Josh smiled as he levitated the paper and then enchanted it to imitate a dragon, Laika's favorite type. The paper dragon slithered gracefully as Zach held it in his arms. "It's beautiful.", Zach remarked to Josh,"How did you know this is her favorite". "Just a hunch", Josh replied. Nervously, Zach approached Laika's house with her present. She adored the creature and assumed Zach had found it for her. She treasured it forever and named it Deseret, after her precious home in the mountains.
