Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Old Caran can only be described by one word: tough. Originating from one of the aggressive mountain clans, Caran has been a warrior her whole life, accompanying the rest of her clan-mates on raids from a very young age. With her ferocity and skill she managed to climb high in the ranks, but in the end, that proved to be her undoing. As she grew older, her strength waned and knowing the unwritten laws of her kind, she decided to leave, rather than to be defeated and killed by younger dragons who desired her position. She was recruited by Thalion, who recognized the potential use in having such a skilled and experienced fighter on their side. Caran is by no means a beautiful dragon—her hide is covered with scars, but rather than covering them up, she wears them like a badge of honor, loving nothing more than to boast about her numerous victories. Not too big on words, she prefers to settle her disputes with teeth and claws, which dissuades other dragons from getting on her bad side.
