Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. The oldest of the Rokkan dragons, Simrandall is the guardian of the Rokkan clan's memories, which he stores under pebbles, in trees and flower buds. A true Earth dragon, he limits himself to only short flights in order to secret clan memories in trees for others to chance upon and read.
