Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Perugrine has a very lovely voice. So many dragons go after him, male and female, to hear the words he speaks. They invade his privacy and are always spreading rumors about his personal life and where he lives. This has forced the Christmas Dragon to always stay on the move, trying to find a place to live in peace.

Gossip is everywhere, however, and wherever he goes there are already a bunch of excited dragons waiting for him. Since Perugrine cannot fly, he has to use his powerful legs to run from rabid 'fans' and he never gets a moment of peace. Because of this, he has started to become agitated and snappish.

Of course, the dragons who 'love' him don't seem to notice what they are doing to him and just continue to push him over the edge, always wanting to hear more and more of his voice.
