Greater Spotted Drakes are found in open pine and oak forests. They are among the larger end of the spectrum, but are quite laid back and feed mostly on plant material. They are ambush predators and rely on their dappled markings for camouflage. Females are usually larger than males, though males are brighter in color. In the breeding season the male attracts a mate by making loud, low-pitched bugles, followed by an aerial courtship dance as proof of his quality as a father to her offspring.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

While Red is super serious, orderly, and blunt, and Lucky is boisterous, bold, and loud, Bouncy (as his name might entail) is bubbly, social, and incredibly sweet. He is super friendly to everyone he meets, up to and including dangerous dragons bigger than him, though that actually includes a lot of dragons since he's very short, even for a male Greater Spotted Drake. While his brothers are talented hunters and will often hunt meat to eat, Bouncy is a pure vegetarian and can't even bring himself to think about killing another living creature. He will often chastise his older brother, Lucky, for his much more carnivorous diet, but Lucky just assures him it's how nature designed him (an argument Bouncy cannot seem to sway his brother from.) This does bring forth the issue that no one really listens to Bouncy or what he has to say, which is frustrating for him to say the least. He seeks companionship in the Greenwing, Hibiscus, who does at least give him some attention.
