Kingcrownes are a mysterious and proud species, possessing some of the most beautiful and reflective scales of all dragons. Despite this, what is sought after most is not their scales, but the silk-like hairs that grow along their head, neck, and elbows. The hairs themselves have a magical shine, and are thought to have powerful healing properties when used in potions. The hairs of a Kingcrowne are even believed to bring good fortune to those who possess them. Though it is obvious that these dragons possess magical abilities, it is still not entirely clear what they are fully capable of. Most of a Kingcrowne’s time is spent grooming itself, keeping its scales and fur in top condition.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Eternal Temporary Memory Cuarto uses his magic to create audio-visual recordings of events. Usually, he records plays or musical performances—entertainment, which R0KUI distributes through his network of mana-connected crystal balls. He loves going to the various theatres to help negotiate contracts and film all sorts of performances. His tastes are not particularly refined and he has no favourite genre, so he enjoys everything, no matter how awful. When he has the luxury of time he likes to actually travel rather than teleport to watch the scenery. He has created a few recordings of particularly scenic areas that R0KUI has woven into his system, but he dreams of making a play like no other using magical recordings of the actors going through actual scenery in places where it would be impossible to bring a live audience. While skilled with a magical recording device, he is a terrible at making plots, but he has shared his idea with Aeris Regalia, who seems excited to experiment.
