Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. You find it odd that the hatchling doesn’t move at all during the day, but at night its colors change and it is full of energy.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This dragon has a terrible attitude, and when he's active at night, he emits awful shrieks and attacks other dragons for seemingly no reason. Despite being a baby, he's very dangerous: he's very quick on his feet and targets eyes, wings, and soft bellies. Yet, he's too young to understand what he's allowed to do and that he's still no match for much bigger dragons. This was all before he was kidnapped by an unknown entity bent on killing him and raising him as an undead dragon. The attempt having (apparently) failed, the hatchling was found and revived by his original caretakers. His vicious temperament has not changed at all. They say that they might as well be caring for a zombie.
