Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Every Golden Green hates the way her red tassels look and is constantly making stains and dyes to try and make them the same color as the rest of her scales. This used to entail a lot of hunting for reagents until she fell into a distorted pocket of reality caused by an unsafe blending of time and darkness mana-pools known as the Submachines. She took over a room in one of the ruins to use as a dye-studio, and eventually it became a permanent feature of the room, regressing to a specific point in time whenever the area is abandoned for too long. Despite this, Gold does not like the Submachines at all. She is afraid of Murtaugh and cannot stand to look at Elizabeth's scales, and generally hates it when anyone goes into her territory unannounced—even when they are passing through other layers that she cannot get to. She tries to enforce the social standards from the time and place she came from, but the achronal nature of the Submachines prevents calling-cards from persisting properly.
