Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It hits you with its wings if it feels threatened.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
User Description
This little dragon hits other hatchlings and sometimes adults whether or not they offer any threat to him. His wings make a fun "whap whap whap" sound when he hits someone, which he loves and tries to make as often as possible, hence his uncreative name. His caretakers know that he doesn't do this out of maliciousness and nudge him away from his target whenever he's caught. Since four adults of different breeds and upbringings are responsible for Whap Whap Whap, they can't agree on what to do about his behavior. For now, they've given him logs, large debris, and meat that needs to be tenderized and let him strike those instead. He's otherwise a nice hatchling who makes no trouble, but swinging his wings at every dragon within reach is very troublesome indeed.
